This Privacy Notice explains how CampusEasy handles personal information when you visit our website or use our accounts, shopping, campus services, bookings, rewards, and student marketplace features. It applies to information processed through the Platform and related support channels.

CampusEasy is an India-focused service. Please contact us if you need information about the legal entity operating the Platform or its registered address.

Depending on which features you use, information may include your name, email address, phone number, password credential (stored in protected form), college or campus details, profile and delivery information, orders, bookings, payment status, marketplace listings or enquiries, and communications with support.

The Platform and its hosting providers may also process technical information such as device and browser details, IP address, access logs, cookie or session identifiers, and error or security events needed to operate and protect the service.

We use information to create and secure accounts; verify email or sign-in; process and manage orders, bookings, payments, listings, and support requests; communicate service updates; prevent fraud and misuse; maintain records; diagnose technical issues; and meet legal obligations.

Where required, we will request consent before using personal information for a purpose that requires consent. You can withdraw consent where applicable; this does not affect processing already lawfully carried out or processing that has another legal basis.

We share only information reasonably needed with service providers that help us run the Platform, such as hosting, database, email, payment, image storage, and customer-support providers. They may process information on our behalf under appropriate arrangements.

If you place an order, make a booking, or contact an independent seller or service provider, relevant details such as your name, contact information, order or booking information, and delivery instructions may be shared to fulfil that request. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or to protect users, the Platform, or the public.

We do not sell personal information as a product. We do not share it for another organisation's independent marketing without a lawful basis and any consent required by law.

CampusEasy uses essential cookies or similar storage to maintain sign-in sessions, remember necessary preferences, and protect the Platform. Session cookies are configured to reduce exposure to scripts and cross-site requests where supported by the browser. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in or checkout from working.

No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, limit access where appropriate, and ask you to protect your password and promptly report suspected account misuse.

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Notice, including account operation, transaction records, security, dispute handling, and legal requirements. Retention depends on the type of information and applicable obligations. When it is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it, subject to lawful retention requirements.

Subject to applicable law and verification of your identity, you may request access to, correction or erasure of personal information, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or raise a grievance. Some information must be retained or cannot be changed while needed to complete a transaction or meet legal obligations.

To make a request, email contact@campuseasy.in from your account email and describe what you need. We may ask for reasonable information to verify the request and will respond within the time required by applicable law.

The Platform is intended for campus users and is not designed to invite children to provide personal information. If you are under 18, use transaction features only with a parent or legal guardian where required. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information may contact us to request appropriate action.

Some providers may process information on servers located outside your state or country. Where applicable, we use appropriate safeguards and comply with Indian data-protection and other applicable requirements.

The Platform may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, and CampusEasy does not control those independent services.

We may update this Notice as the Platform or applicable law changes. We will update the date below and provide additional notice for material changes where appropriate. Your continued use after an update is subject to applicable law.
